Before you begin the floor covering, please read the
installation instructions carefully and follow these guidelines.

Damage caused by non-compliance with these flooring recommendations is not covered by the warranty.
The following conditions should be taken into consideration while examining floor and underfloor should be prepared according to these conditions.

1- Floor surface should be smooth, dry, clean, crack-free and nonporous.

2- Floor should not contain any residue of paint, wax, polish, oil, solvent, putty, adhesive or heavy foreign bodies and inclusion.

3- There should be no elevation difference of transition points between floor surface and other surfaces. Potential elevation differences among floors can be calculated with a surface gage

4- Temperature and humidity of an application place should be checked whether variable or within standard limits.

5- Heat should be checked if floor has an underfloor heating system. The heat of floor should be appropriate for LVT application temperature, and there should also be a heating system report which shows that flooring is applicable.

6- If floor is elevated or on steel construction floors, underfloor should be checked whether it is subject to air circulation..

7- It should be ensured that warps on the surface do not excess 2 mm (when measured with a steel ruler).

8- At least 18°C ambient temperature, 15°C surface temperature and less than 70% relative humidity are required for a fault-free LVT flooring. In any case, please measure the humidity rate of floor before continuing application. If you are not sure, please consult with an expert.

9- Least 18°C is required not only for ambient temperature but also for the temperatures of undercoating and adhesives.

10- All floors except for castable asphalt have a maximum rate of acceptable humidity (also known as structural humidity rate). Among reliable tools, CM unit can be availed of in order to determine the humidity rate. Measured values should be transmitted to the customer in written.

11- For the floors with underfloor heating system, no hole should be drilled in order to measure the humidity rate. (For example; CM unit). Holes may cause damage to heating system. The places with underfloor heating system generally have a startup instruction or heating protocol. The measurement of humidity rate can be performed easily by observing such.

12- The checking of surface quality is under the responsibility of the mounter. If surface quality is not applicable for flooring, mounting should not commence before rendering the surface applicable.

13- The flooring surface should be resistant against pressure and tension for Dry - Back products. Please check the hardness of the surface for Dry- Back application. Please incise vertical and horizontal lines with 1 cm intervals for a 100 cm2 area. If there is no break within the lined 100 cm2 area, the hardness can be deemed to suffice.
If flooring is to be applied to a under-heated surface, a report should ensure that flooring on the surface is applicable. In this respect, EN 1264-2 (Underfloor Radiator Systems and Components) standards should be conformed to.

2- The temperature of the underfloor heating system should be between 18°C and 22°C while flooring on under-heated surface. During the months when heating system is running, the heating system must run between 18°C and 22°C for 72 hours at least before and after and during flooring. Rapid and distinct temperature changes may cause divergence and rising on joints.

3- After the completion of flooring and waiting periods, the maximum temperature should not exceed 27°C during use.
If the surface is not smooth, it should be undercoated and leveled. If the surface cannot be leveled, even a simple warp under the flooring will strike the eye. If you wish, you can consult with your adhesive or undercoating supplier. Undercoatings and leveling components must be applied according to the instructions provided by manufacturers. This helps flooring to be permanent on the underfloor, prevents cracks and ensures the necessary pressure resistance. The minimum thickness of leveling component must be between 1,5 mm and 2 mm for rolling loads. If dispersion adhesives are used, non-absorbent dense sub-surfaces should be leveled using a leveling component with sufficient thickness (2 mm at least).
1- If LVT is a Click product, the product must wait in the flooring room as small piles for least 24 hours before flooring application. If LVT is a Dry-Back product, it should be carried into the application room together with adhesive material 48 hours before the application.

2- While the optimal room temperature is approximately 18°C the air humidity should not exceed 70%. Thus, LVTs will accord with the room temperature and ambient conditions. If these conditions are not present, various issues may occur during mounting. If the temperature is too low and/or the humidity rate is too high, the mounting of flooring will be more demanding and the adhesives will have less adhesion power.

3- Attention should be paid to have LVTs on a horizontal and smooth surface during acclimation to the atmosphere. This decreases the risk of deformations.

4- If LVTs are not acclimated sufficiently or applied with incorrect adhesives, the products may have intervals among each other.
LVTs should be carefully checked before factory delivery. Please, perform a visual check before mounting. Any kind of irregularity can only be corrected before mounting. After mounting, only the problems that are not observed at first can be solved. Attention should be paid that all LVT parts of an order, delivery and flooring are of the same party. Please, read carefully the label information on the packaging. The color deviations due to production should be checked. If there are unacceptable differences, the delivered product should be returned to the supplier. After mounting, the products cannot be returned due to color difference, surface structure and pattern faults. In order for your complaints to be processed, we require certain information such as invoice number and order no.
LVT floorings can be applied as parallel, vertical or slanted. During mounting LVT floorings, please apply flooring parts to match patterns in order to minimize wastage and part cuts. You are recommended to draw a plan according to your application within the flooring area before starting mounting.
According to LVT flooring series, some or a majority of the flooring parts are provided with marks that show the flooring direction. An arrow sign on the rear surface of flooring material indicates the direction of flooring. The direction of flooring components should be determined and applied according to this determination taking into consideration the dimension and geometry of the application room. Attention must be paid to direct all the flooring components to the same direction. If the shape or pattern you intend require you to deviate from these marks of direction, you can also apply the parts in various directions other than the intended marks. The flooring are recommended to be applied towards to entry of the room or to the source of light.
Do not apply the flooring with reference to walls. Walls may not always be straight. Flooring is recommended to be applied with a string drawn as reference. The application should commence by leaving 10 mm application margin from wall ends during LVT Click flooring. If the area to be floored is a long area, a dilatation profile should be placed at each 15 m. The gap between the materials to be interlaid with dilatation profile should be 7 mm at least. Connection details of all Click products should be checked with a miter and ruler before mounting. If a miter issue or mounting problem occurs, the application should not be carried out. Click floor materials should be used 24 hours after completing the flooring process. LVT Dry-Back adhesive floorings should commence by leaving 5 mm application margin from wall ends. The adhesive material to be used during application should be an adhesive brand recommended by the company. (Adhesives: UZIN DENLAKS: PU99, KE-2000S, KE-418; HENKEL: Thomsit K188, Thomsit K188E, Thomsit R710. You can find the technical specifications of the adhesives on the labels of the products or the website of the manufacturer.) The adhesives can only be applied to industrial surfaces and after special pre-treatments (For example; undercoating and leveling). Before such procedures, please apply the adhesive material according to the instructions of the company that manufactures the adhesive. Only solvent-free and dispersion adhesives can be used for PVC floorings. After Dry-Back products are applied with adhesives, they should not be stepped on or used for 48 hours at least. Each flooring should be 90° to the other. Possible irregularities will unavoidably cause grout formation or swelling due to compaction. Similarly, the joints will incur gaps due to room climate, temperature effects and changes (for example; due to radiator and excessive sunlight), surfaces, pre-treatment to surfaces, adhesives and their processing methods.
LVT floorings must be cut to completely match each other. We recommended you to keep ready trapeze flooring knife, arm cut lathe, low-end cutting and breaking tools and steel ruler.
LVT Dry-Back products must not be used with wood floorings (laminated flooring, massive flooring, laminated parquet etc.).
The upper surface of LVT products are covered with a resistant polyurethane covering. This protective covering both provides a protecting feature during transportation and prevents damage, dirts or stains during and after flooring. Flooring finish cleaning should be performed after completing flooring process. The cleaning during use can be made by removing the dust with vacuum cleaner or by wiping off with cleaning agents complying with flexible floorings.
1- Pay attention to use resistant rubber rugs at door entries. This will prevent excessive amount of dirt to reach inside.

2- Place footing without sharp edges under furniture and chair legs. The office chairs should have W type wheels complying with EN 12529 standards in order to be used on flexible floorings. The wheels should be light color and soft roll wheels with the specified dimensions.

3- You should wipe the floor with a wet mop in order to maintain the pleasant look of the floor (at least once in every week). Cleaning intervals vary according to the frequency of use and current pollution.

4- Do not use corrosive cleaning agents. These may cue damage to flooring. If you desire to request through your authorized dealer, they may send you a recommendation list for cleaning agents.

5- Pets with sharp nails may cause scratching on flooring.

6- Sharp and / or metal high heels may cause damage to flooring. Please pay attention to this matter.

7- Please protect flooring from being exposed to direct sunlight for extended period of time. You can minimize direct sunlight exposure by using a curtain or sun shade when sunlight is at its highest effect. Majority of the floorings are prone to color changes if subject to direct sunlight. Apart from these, high temperatures also negatively affect the quality of LVTs.
1- Food stains must be cleaned with an appropriate cleaning agent as soon as possible (please pay attention to cleaning agent recommendations). You must not use corrosive agents (scouring powder, soft soap, bleach, acetone, alcohol, descaler, polish wax etc.) for cleaning and maintenance.

2- Liquid stains can be cleaned easily with a cleaning agent appropriate for floorings.

3- A recommended cleaning agent appropriate for flexible flooring materials should be added to cleaning agent or cleaning water while removing sticking dirts. Cleaning intervals should be adjusted according to pollution level.

4- After LVTs are applied, the dirts due to flooring must be cleaned. If deep scratches may occur during flooring, the parts in question may require replacement.
